Micah Turns One, Devours Turtle

Micah's birthday in early January 2005, although a success, was marred by a severe turtle-ravaging incident. It had been a delightful party -- guests from all over Pittsburgh converged on a fantastic spread of Indian food from Sree's to festively muse over Micah's fantastic first year.

At the moment of the blowing out of the fateful candle, however, Micah was overcome with animal urges (as it were) and reached out to grasp the turtle before him! An aghast crowd watched as he singlehandedly dismantled the turtle, leaving just a bit of face and hiney.

The crowd soon breathed a collective sigh of relief, however. Upon being offered a piece of cucumber, Micah gladly took it over cake. It was, in other words, the same old Micah we had grown to know and love.
