Sadie's First DayWe were delighted to welcome Sadie Julia Primack into our lives on December 7, 2006! |

Between traffic from the Steelers' game and the ice and snow, we weren't sure if we would make it to the hospital ... Jen had three contractions just during the last block before we got there! |
|
But just a few hours later we had 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and 20 inches of adorableness. |
|
|
Micah was particularly taken with her. Spontaneously and unprompted, the first thing he said when we put her on his lap was, "I love you, Sadie." Awwwww! |
|
The second thing he said was, "She has hair like Daddy!" Well, at least we know he tells it like it is. Don't worry, Sadie -- unlike Daddy, yours is still on its way in! |

We chose "Sadie" in loving memory of her maternal great-great uncle Sam Engel, her paternal great-grandmother Sadie Primack, and her maternal great-great aunt Sadie Polasky. |

We chose "Julia" in loving memory of her paternal great-great grandfather Julius Goldenberg, and her maternal great-great aunt Julia Gurman. |
