Equine Adventure

Coming home from the NHC Institute we surprised the kids and took them to a real farm.

There were bunnies and chickens that were fun to watch and feed.

But the highlight was that we took an hour-long ride on horseback around the farm! This is a view from atop Casey, who Sadie and I were riding together. You can see farmer Mick on Diego, followed by Micah on Shorty, followed by Jen on Babe.

Here is the whole gang at the end of the ride.

Micah is looking very comfortable on horseback!

And here are Sadie and I on Casey, who was very tall.

As a little bonus treat a the end, we got to feed the goats as well!
